Terms and Conditions of Any Fully Funded Scholarship
Often, Terms and Conditions are associated with giveaways and special offers. This is because they protect the offeror from legal liability. You must agree to terms and conditions to use certain websites, apps, or software. Scholarships are no exception to this. In fact, setting these conditions is an important part of creating a well-designed scholarship. Below are the most common terms and conditions you will want to include when setting the conditions for your scholarship.

Be Exceptional Scholarships cannot be combined with Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships
Be Exceptional Scholarships are awards to international students at the University of York. These scholarships provide a reduction of up to PS7,500 in tuition fees. These scholarships are awarded in two rounds. To be considered for one of these scholarships, you must be an international student, have an excellent English language skill, and have achieved musical distinction at regional or national level. Be Exceptional Scholarships are not combinable with Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships.
Students can only apply for the Chancellor's Scholarship if they are enrolled at Keele University. You must hold an unconditional offer for the first three years of your course to be eligible. However, you cannot apply if you have already applied for Student Finance support. The Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships. If you have been successful in the previous scholarship application process, you can apply again for the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship.
Must maintain a 3.5 grade point average
To be considered for this merit-based scholarship, you must meet certain criteria. You must be a full-time second-year student who has a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5, and you must have a GPA of 3.5 to be eligible for the award. Additionally, you must be a resident of the Roanoke Valley. To apply, you must submit an application by the priority deadline, which is January 3, 2022. You may be required to attend an interview as well.
The new requirements for merit scholarships were implemented for the 2018-19 academic year. Those students who were awarded HOPE scholarships or other similar scholarships in high school need to maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average in order to renew their awards. However, if you receive a Tier One scholarship from the UH Foundation, you may receive a renewal every ten semesters. The requirements for the Cullen Leadership scholarship also apply to those who received university-funded merit scholarships after Fall 2018. In addition, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in order to receive this award. The only exception is the National Merit scholarship, which does not require a minimum GPA requirement.
Can be reduced or cancelled if federal financial aid is subject to a return of funds calculation
Depending on the type of aid you receive, you may be required to return some of your aid if you don't meet federal financial aid eligibility requirements. Federal financial aid programs use a formula to determine how much aid must be returned. In general, the amount of return aid is equal to the amount of unearned aid less the percentage of the aid earned. When determining if you are required to return any of your aid, it is important to understand how this calculation works.
A Return of Funds Calculation is required by federal regulations, which determine when a student is actually "withdrawing" from school. This means that if the student withdraws from all of their classes before 60 percent of the semester, their financial aid may be reduced or cancelled. This calculation will be based on the date that the student actually stopped attending classes.
Can be used for promotional purposes
Offering a scholarship to students can help your business increase downloads and awareness of your app or online service. Some companies might require students to download free software or apps before they qualify for the scholarship. Others may require students to share their video creations via social networks. If you want to maximize your exposure and increase downloads, offer a scholarship to your students. There are a number of ways to promote your scholarship, but blogging is a great place to start.
If you are using text messages to promote a free college program, you may want to opt-in to receive reminders about important deadlines. For example, a college planning service may text reminders to its entrants or the legal guardians of minor entrants. Some colleges offer status updates through text messages as well, so students can stay informed on their progress. Scholarship drawings can also be sent to recipients via text message.
